The ninth grader of the specialized “Zhas daryn” school for gifted children Amir Mokhammed-Ali became the first-prize winner in the International Maths Olympiad in Hong Kong, reports Kazpravda.kzwith reference to pavlodarnews.kz.
Kazakhstan was represented at the International Olympiad by 6 students. As a result, the young mathematicians brought to the country one gold, one bronze and three silver medals. The ‘gold’ for Kazakhstan was brought by a Pavlodar boy Amir.
